We Start with a Comprehensive Assessment
To Better Understand Your Addiction
This extensive interactive interview provides an in-depth assessment of the nature, extent, and severity of the client’s substance use and related problems. The assessment covers a broad range of issues including the client’s level of psychosocial functioning, previous addiction treatment center experience, medical and psychiatric status and available social supports. It is an exchange of information designed to provide the client with a better understanding of the processes and tools available.
Customized Addiction Treatment Programs
Tailored to You
Summit Behavioral Health offers both intensive and non-intensive outpatient addiction treatment programs organized into different phases and levels of care so that treatment can be tailored to fit each client’s individual needs. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed for clients in the early stages of treatment who require a high level of structure and support. Our Relapse Prevention Program (RPP) is for clients who have completed primary treatment and want to reduce their potential for relapse. And our Advanced Recovery Program (ARP) is for clients who want to further solidify their recovery and work through emotional/psychological issues related to their substance use.
We Take a Holistic Approach
Treating the Mind, Body and Spirit
Our integrative treatment approach blends together some of the best clinical practices and evidence-based (research-supported) strategies available in the addiction treatment field today. These include motivational, cognitive-behavioral, relapse prevention, 12-step facilitation, and emotion-focused therapy techniques. A unique aspect of our treatment is that it addresses not only the addiction itself, but also the core emotional and psychological issues that often act as silent generators of “self-medication” behavior and chronic relapse.
