New Jersey and Massachusetts Detoxification Centers
Medically Supervised Detoxification
Many types of drug and alcohol substance abuse can lead to addiction and dependency. Once an individual is dependent on a substance, simply quitting may not be an option. We’ve seen people try to stop using at home, but their withdrawal symptoms become so severe and painful to the point of being intolerable. Because of this, quitting or detoxing on your own may be dangerous and even life-threatening.
Substance abuse detoxification and withdrawal therapy programs are typically recommended when an individual has a severe drug or alcohol dependence. If you are unsure if you or a loved one needs detox before treatment, simply call us at any time and we can answer all of your questions and help you find the right program for you.

Your customized care program will address any mental health issues right alongside your drug and/or alcohol addiction.
Serenity at Summit – Inpatient Detoxification Center in Haverhill, Massachusetts
Serenity at Summit New England is our newest location, and also the site of our first inpatient residential program. This modern and expansive facility in Haverhill, MA provides a comfortable environment for clients to detox from drugs or alcohol and then receive customized holistic treatment services to round out their first official steps toward long-term sobriety.
Clients beginning treatment at this facility undergo a full medical and clinical evaluation within the first 24 hours after being admitted.
